Lollygagging

She lollygags at length; what can one do?
I let her chitter chat the evening long;
And, if she misses me, then she must rue
The fact the lollygagging was so strong
An incentive to keep her from my charm,
My courtesy, discretion and my tact:
The lollygagging should not cause her harm
And hopefully the chitter chat attracts,
To her, admirers, who forget their cloaks
To tempt her dainty feet across the mud;
I only hope each frog is one who croaks
Their admiration in a way that floods
The lily pads where lollygags take place;
So, she can kiss a distant prince with grace.
