Chalice⌛️
singular of my caste, the sins of existence
unbecoming by faith
in the daylight of the living
my body a chalice, the wine of my blood,
my phantom betrothed how gaunt I've become,
my pallor seems beautiful
a pact by choice, a sip in return
I prefer it this way, forbidden and forgotten,
a vow in secret, don't say it here and never
aloud, my intended, for we may disappear
