Rest in peace My love 2015
Memories of you fall like cherry blossoms from the trees
I try to catch them one by one
I chase them flying on the breeze
They are ripped
From my fingers
The touch of your lips
The sound of your laugh
I try so desperately to hold them
But I cannot have them back
The petals scatter
And lay forlorn upon the ground
Crinkling in the sun
I sob amongst these rotting flowers
And gather them to my face
But they’ve no smell
And of there sweetness I’ve only now a taste
And I am kneeling in the flowers
Sobbing out goodbye
But they cherry blossoms are all gone
My love for spring has died.
I try to catch them one by one
I chase them flying on the breeze
They are ripped
From my fingers
The touch of your lips
The sound of your laugh
I try so desperately to hold them
But I cannot have them back
The petals scatter
And lay forlorn upon the ground
Crinkling in the sun
I sob amongst these rotting flowers
And gather them to my face
But they’ve no smell
And of there sweetness I’ve only now a taste
And I am kneeling in the flowers
Sobbing out goodbye
But they cherry blossoms are all gone
My love for spring has died.
