Thankful You Luv Me
watching a flickering flame
of a candle in the darkness
casting shadows upon my soul
closer I get to its fire
can feel the warmness
how it reminds me of you
you found me secluded from life
light of my being smothered out
no ambition to shine once again
then one day I needed a caring soul
you brought your flickering flame closer
hugged me with all your warmth
you lit my heart on fire
helping me to glow once again
you're the flame of my heart

Hey Scooter.......thank you for these wonderful words you've shared with me.....bringing a tear......it's been a long ways to get where I'm at in this moment of time......but I've conquered being defeated......hardest thing to do at times is allowing yourself to be luved by another after you've lost a soul you truly luved......I know you know this......appreciate you much my friend xo :)
