Floundering in that bad Place

 splashing in cutting the rope
a mere string now hanging
on fragile branch of hopes
falling into pool of thoughts
churning flipping reading living

gasping with filled eyes, drowning
thousand drops of bubbles within liquid
forcing through closed nostrils trying to breath
embraced in treacle syrup of spoken words
clinging like blankets of suffocating whispers

staying afloat grasping for strewn straws
though salt fill up mouth.. tasted in every swallow
persevere the blanket of comfort said
pillows in many maps of wet stains
accompany the fingers of moonbeams

and comfort blessed the weary body
supine on spread satin sheets
anointed with tomorrow's sunlight
breeze to ruffle the tousled head
lavender's scent to fill the air.
