In Utero (Love and Lust Greatest Debate)
In oft used
somewhat rhetorical phrasing
yet amazing and so true.....
“...sometimes love has no rhyme
has no reason, even when you try
to be cool “
wonderfully, twisted thoughts
in the never-ending quest
for a heart victorious
and a willingness to perish rather than lose
love's bittersweet potion.....
…...”if you trust your heart to choose”
trying so hard to rationalize
the moral fabric of
a choice; a status quo
metaphoric lines
paint pictures
of an idyllic hypocrisy
because truly
“....that's not the way love goes”
the polarization
of loves loyalty
in opposition to
the adjacent mysteries
deep within
a heart,
property of another
when
the “outer” fringes
of your mind, body and soul
belong in *his* arms
speak not of
mass trepidation,
unconfined laced lines,
fabricated deceptions
as if one
truly navigates
love's courses
in the blind
the rapture
of a subtle
tender kiss
captured by
an innocent embrace,
inspired deep scintillation
a warmth felt inside "wet words"
feeling no shame
nor disgrace
burning embers that ignite the soul's fire......
….at the strangest times.
Love can make a connection,
if you trust your heart to choose
( I'm just sayin'......)
