Such a hussy
She'd give her left tit
For what she craves
So would he
Few takers
Maybe a nut or two
Both having lost
Bits on the way
Not much more
Left to give
Lessons come cheap
Cost a lot
Sums don't add
Again
Subtraction
The big easy
Distraction
You'll never know
Half the answers
One tenth
Of our pain
But the joy
We can do that
And just make it
Better

I'll tell you why I enjoy your work, and I'll be honest, it's not what I usually read. You know what, it isn't beautiful. It Isn't a lyrical masterpiece.... but it is real. That's exactly the reason I fell in love with Bukowski back in the day. There's no gimmick. It just is, and that's a breath of fresh air.
