youth

some say
we’re young adults
some say
we’re just kids
and some don’t care
for what we say
to them our age
renders us defenceless
our tongues reply
we’re against this
and our actions
defend us
and our actions
berate us

but who is to blame when
we’re feeling the weight of all the
other generations

and we’re feeling the pain
derived from toxic decisions
of others opinions

and we’re fighting for expression
but is denied as undermining
what is not ours
but the authorities positions
