A small child looks up at you
With a tear stained face
His eyes still welling up
He is obviously afraid
He is obviously upset
His lower lip is clearly split
His T-shirt all bloody
He holds up his hands
To you in a hug like motion
Do you:

a)      Pick him up, hug him and take him to get help.
b)      Run about like a headless chicken not knowing what to do.
c)      Punch him in the face again this time for snivelling.

The same small boy, crying
Moaning, lying face down.
Blood from a head wound trickles
He has black boot prints and
Blood covering the back of his T-shirt
He curls into the foetus position
He holds up one hand to you
In the hope you will take it
Do you:

a)      Take his hand in rescue find him immediate help
b)      Run about in panic like a mouse on a wheel not knowing what to do
c)      Kick him and two or three times for good measure

The same small boy lying still
Still lying face down
His breathing is shallow
His breathing a bit croaky
From the markings that you can see
It is clear he has been badly beaten
He shivers and shakes he can’t
Ask you your help he daren’t
Do You:

a)      Phone the emergency services and comfort them until they arrive
b)      Panic and run away not wanting to get involved
c)      Throw him in to a pitch black coal cellar without a single care

Did you mainly answer A, B or C
What kind of person does that make you?

If you answered all A’s then you’re ALRIGHT
Doing the right thing coming to a child’s rescue

If you answered all B’s then you’re a BASTARD
You did nothing that’s what makes you
A useless bastard

If you mainly answered C then you’re a CUNT
Unfortunately I can’t think of a nastier word
That I can call you. Needless to say I don’t
Want you studied or investigated as to the why
I want you taken out and executed on a crisp, bright
Morning with nobody to hear your screams for leniency
