Thrill Seeker

thrill seeking between the folds of white
seeing yesterdays maps on sheets
careless smudges on other stains
contortions sensuous and fluid

hands seeking the pulses
on spots in hidden folds
fondles as hardness swell
sore point bristles scratched

away from the mundane
spatulas left behind a while
for adventures long and hard
saddled and well ridden

hours in exploring landscapes
peaks and valleys traversed
petals picked and well watered
lips tight on spout drank well

thrill seeker thrilled out a while
cook a splendid meal
for husband back from work
and children from school

smiling she thought about her thrills
of an afternoon, adding maps
to well painted white sheets
with a hard riding cowboy.
