Sermon for the Enlightened Few

The house
We built
Sweat on lie
Arse fucked
With permission
Watched
By a long line
Of missionaries
Singing hymns
Pointing
To a cross
Mock robes
Loosely covering
Second-hand suits
No shame here
Today's sins
Neatly separated
From yesterday
Yes I strummed your strings
On a borrowed guitar
Indifference my bride
I wanted her
So perfectly
As I should
Numbered Marys
Guide me in
And out
Over and over
Again
