I hate the way you slurp your tea
I hate the way you glare at me

I hate the way you swill your soup
I hate the way you gossip and snoop

I hate the way you smack your lips
I hate the way your ego tips

I hate the way you chomp your jaws
I hate the way you scratch with claws

I hate the way you chew your food
I hate the way you hate me nude

I hate the way you gnaw on corn
I hate the way you�d rather watch porn

I hate the way you nibble and pick
I hate the way you think I�m a dick

I hate the way you munch your toast
I hate the way you hate me the most

I hate the way you swig your wine
I hate the way you�re no longer mine

I hate the way you munch and crunch
We really should do lunch

I have to say that although the ending was a piece of comedy, but the time I got there, I did not feel like laughing. Not at all. This is devastating. The way the poem is crafted, it almost seems like you are trying to hide those devastating lines, but they are tremendous.

the punchline is only there to allow us to hide from the devastation if and when we want to - you hit the nail right in the head :-)
