Lived in the big city my whole life
Never had a need for a gun
Contemplating a more rural setting
Quieter and gentler perhaps
Problem is
Will I need a gun to feel safe
Out there in the black night
With only crickets for protection
The more I think about it
The worse it sounds
Plus you have to drive everywhere
This was a bad idea

city's a great place to live, been there, done that but i do enjoy the nether regions greatly...
no need for a gun...just a live and let live attitude with the wildlife...that includes those who walk on two legs and come from a different planet ;)
driving...i did a forrest gump on saturday, driving to my destination i decided to bypass and keep going till i got tired then I turned around and came home...ltm...freedom...

I hate city life - for me it never feels safe - I am always on edge, eyes in the back of my head. I now live on a quiet Scottish island - rural feels much safer - a real sense of community here - but as always with people some love it some hate it :-)

no, you wouldn't need a gun...but you would likely go stir crazy...listening to crickets and birds is nice for a while...but then I think you'd miss city life ...I would :) (p.s. put up two poems today on my site)

I'm with you bro. But I've a possible solution, move to a 'tweener' u know that lil cross between the two
worlds lol... any who... Guns, hate them for what damage they can cause people, yet necessary in instances involving bears, wolves etc lol
