tears run like a fountain
his heart an avalanche, stone cold
as the crest of mountains

parted by this great divide

leaves no place to hide

cowering from constant bombardment

plummeting from high escarpments

Hmm...interesting take on this. I realize that I forgot footnotes about this piece, so I suppose it's a bit vague. I would assume that he did NOT find the peace he sought.
This piece is actually about my feelings toward my father and the divide that has grown between us since he physically attacked me. The tears are mine.

the poem itself molds images of a mountain in my mind, your skills are superb, reading your comment above seeing this relates to you and your father's relationship this must have been on your mind, just remember no one's perfect and life can develop into the most unlikely of paths, pantoum... thanx for teaching me a new type of poetry...
