Wrestling

I am moving to New Zealand she said
As she made up the bed
We’d spent hours last night
Sexually wrestling on.

I am telling you so that you know
It’s ok if you say no
I’d understand it’s such a big thing
For me to ask

I want you to come because I love you
This was something I already knew
I felt the same
But this was a hard decision

I thought about my family and friends
Our relationships and contact ends
But then they don’t spend hours
Sexually wrestling with me

A warm smile grew over her face
As I said I’ll pack a case
She said what about your family
I said they don’t wrestle
