My Dog
I have just realised
I love my dog more
than I love my wife
but then
he is always sad when I leave
and he is always happy to see me
I should have married my dog
I have so much love
for my dog
when he farts
I take the blame
my dog is like human
but nicer
My favourite dog
was a hot dog I ate
at a funfair
I never gave it a name
just don't tell my dog

(lol) - you are so astute and she is giving me a harder time since I let her read both poems but then this is all part of life's rich tapestry :-p
