Letter to the human child
my human child,
you use me, you abuse me
you sold me and threw me out
as if I'm a wrecked whore
how long do you think I'll stay ignored
you raped your sisters
you killed your brothers
you built cathedrals
to a never seen father
how could you forsake
your own mother
I gave you warmth when you shiver
I gave you breeze when you sweat
I gave you shelter for years and years
I never put you in debt
how stupid are your quarrels
over something you don't own
do not worship me
do not pray for me
all I ask is...
acknowledge me
acknowledge the truth
I don't need you!
but you need me
with love,
Mother Nature.
