My Lovely Void
Darling it would seem my world has gone black
Although you can try, it's not coming back.
The thought may sound sad but really I'm fine
Darkness brings comfort more to souls like mine.
My domain is home to what I find dear
Cloaked by the night, it hides what I fear.
Sweetheart, don't worry, I've made up my mind
The light in my life is too hard to find.
So now that you see and now that you know,
Will you stay with me or let it all go?

Rather enjoyable short pen, this. Quite relatable, as my entire soul is surrounded by a welcome darkness.
