Lost her almost a year ago

A reality we can't escape,  finding comfort where I can, sometimes here ....

GMorn...before I even scrolled down to see any comments, I knew this was a remembrance of your mom who died about a year ago next month...I"m sure the pictures gave you that bittersweet feeling of remembering a happy moment and then feeling so sad she is gone....sending a hug your way....

Just remembering my Mom who passed away in November of last year ....

Every time I write about her I feel both happy and sad and that's what this poem is about

She"s watching out for me and I'm doing the same for her, if that's possible.
In time I've processed her passing as she was not herself at the end, still this time of year is difficult and always will be ....

She was a classy lady, any time I can honor her is a good day

Your poem touched me deeply poet. Having lost my mom 2 years ago September I still feel a sharp pain that seems to engulf me from out of the blue sometimes. I still haven't been able to write of her. Hopefully I will be able to one day. I feel for you as this time of the year can prove most difficult.

It is difficult indeed, trying to process it in different ways.  I wrote about her leading up to the end and then a bunch afterwards, it does help to put it out there.  Keeps me close to her memory ......
