Leftovers


I often wonder what it's like for him, and her, knowing that he once chose me before her.

He settled for her because I wouldn't settle for his infidelities.

In truth, she feasts upon the scraps of my love, and the remnants of me still lingers upon his lips.

This, I know from the dialogues I share with him but what she doesn't know, won't hurt, all that much.
