Moments of solace..
Sometimes I wish,
To get away from it all!
And find solace,
Somewhere deep in the woods!
But how can I escape,
From the memories?
It is not that,
I have not tried.
The woods were great,
But only for a moment perhaps.
The only moments
Of solace and tranquility
If ever, I remember,
Were the ones,
where I fell asleep,
With my head resting
In my mother's lap!

Beautiful darlin..and a tough one. I have had many damaging traumas..and moments that i have had great guilt about..but i have somehow let them go. Ptsd mostly a thing of a dark past. And thats just it, past..cant let our past be or destroy our future!
Very hard work
But worth it to be happy. And free myself for a happy today.
