Paper's Poetry
reflecting off my iris
in a rumble
I heard
to wrap it’s papyrus
around my crumbled
words
blow the smoke
in their ears
after alighted
in their tissues it floats
waiting, where
it enlighten’s
pour my power
over vines
in your vase
every flower
a different time
another place
it says together we’re a net
to capture their ears
and their hearts
a pledge to let
me trace their tears
and diminish the dark
with neon words
from my incandescent ink
spilling
in lines of thirds
that link
from floor to ceiling
an intensive
amplified choir
flowing free
attentive
to the desperate desire
of paper’s poetry...
