if i could only rewind
the time we last met
your end tied so near
your life too short
only memories of you remain
knowing that i'll never see
your face again
brings tears
that burn
my heart sink
souls shattered into pieces
not treasuring what you have
until it's long gone; many people do the same
im sure you will wait for me
wait for all your family and friends
at the crossroads
til' we meet again

im not making fun. i was trying to lighten things up. i really do feel ya on this one. you wanna talk about some serious shit without me at least attempting to be lighthearted about it? send me a messege. better yet call me, and expect emotion and things you dont even know that you didnt want to know.

i feel this one. not in the way that you do (for this purpose at least. i try not to presume), but in a purely romantic way.
i didnt realize i'd never see that person again when i left. i didnt realize the two uncomfortable weeks before i moved that the clock was quite literally running out for her. and when i think back to the last time i saw her i break down like a bad habit.
