Jezebel !!!!
stirring incantation,
“Hündin, Hündin, Hündin”
'twas beautifully done
with great finesse
pinching myself
heart held under duress
to see if I can still
feel at all
my mind left to fathom
was reality ever really real.....at all
( how so quickly we forget )
the purpose and
the seduction
not to mention
all the attention
given
to every precision detail
that brings
my mental state
to a place of hate....
…....I hate your beautiful lies
Jezebel !!!!!!!

beautifully crafted inks
Archival hieroglyphics
to my nostrils stink
renderings fit for regal
kings and queens
and now my Nile flows red
Love is truly dead
…....O you worthless pharisee
death spoken,
a life taken
your worthless tokens
of love unspoken
never believing,
never wanting
to see your
graceless web of lies.....
….....this man ain't supposed to cry
heartless,
left me here to die
Scars so deep
they shall never heal
forever bleed
left to ponder why

So unusual for you to be writing something like this -- quite surprising for me, but I always enjoy all of your poetry.....
With this one, I feel like "Wow" where did that come from? Hope that you might shed some light on it in another poem perhaps.....

A lot I can relate to here. From of course the opposite gender, the heart broken depictions found in the music of Sade are reflected. Nicely done.
