Force Yourself

Just force yourself to stare down as I look;
I'll concentrate upon your parted hair;
You know my polished boots look well with bare
Womanly flesh; I have not yet mistook
The ripple of your shivers, as I cook
New recipes that I will serve with care
And tenderness; so, you will never dare
Resist these impulses; I will not brook
Your soft regard right now; it’s underhand;
But apprehend how dappled shadows mix
With the dark haze I cast; the certain stealth,
Of your cold stillness, shows you understand
That I will choose and you will do; no tricks
Are needed, when I make you force yourself…
