I have the same problem; the thinning hair that is. Thought
about shaving it but not ready to be bald. I have fallen in love with caps.

I was bald at 19 - when it wasn't fashionable unless you were a natzi - my hair had a choice of natzi or monk - monk was never fashionable :-)
I never need a haircut unless it's pubic :-)
