The rich contrast of light and dark is heart-achingly effective dear Keith..
as most define the good vs bad but you show the lovely beauty and emotion that
must be kept in darkness yet it is *clear it shines pure and brightly inside you..

"No light needed
for this love to grow,"
~the depths of this.. just supreme misters.. *swoon forthcoming ;)
the sharp ache accompanying this depth has me sending hugs..

"So it stays in all
the dark places;
sometimes shows itself
on our faces. "
~portrays the overwhelming glow that leaks from heart to blushing smile..fave!

It is the truth in your heart. But also like a wish made upon a falling star. Sometimes it feels good to have something to ourselves, the feeling of growing love, not to be revealed..yet. I found my own truth in this, thank you for sharing. Happy Morning!

Ok, my recent past has jaded me to topics like this I know, but oh I don't like being kept in the dark in that.  Always a reason, and usually never good, for it.  Sighs.  Love the write, and could definitely feel not only the yearn for your lover, but the desire to let the truth of it burn brightly before all...which is how it should, in my opinion.  And why I rummage in ashes too I suppose.  Lol.  Apologize if how I read this was self projection, Keith... Touched a spot inside me, but the emotion of the piece reads pure.  Nicely written.

Michael I felt that would be the way you would feel about the subject. It is a very tricky game to play especially if it is more of a game to one person. It really goes south when one person decides that they no longer want to play second fiddle. I think that we all project our own circumstances and experiences when we are moved by  
a piece. I think that is why we share.

I am not sure exactly what it is,
but I've heard it said it is better when you sneak. I think for some it is the
ability to be in love without the commitment. Hell, I really don't know.
