is presumptuous.
Perhaps my
ink
is beautiful
to me
but to you
it might
simply be
scrap.
Trash.
Fodder
for a
fire.
What matters
is how
I see my work,
not you.
But in the
end
what matters,
doesn't anyway.
Art is
subjective.
Opinions
differ.
No one is
right
when nothing
is left.
Let it burn.

To the artist, there is much more than ink or paint or rock. There is emotion expressed in forms for others to see and hear and feel. One heart reaches out to touch the senses of the audience, whoever that may be. Some are numb to those feelings, others grasp them as if created by their own hearts. Like ice cream, as hard as it is to imagine, some people don't like ice cream... ice cream will melt!

ah telling it how it is with such poise, miss harli... me thinks anything you put bits of yourself into is art, just not everyone has an artist's eye

Everything burns in the end. Art is fleeting. So we chase it. Beautiful and succinct work.
