Forever, Will I Wander?
Everything ends,
Either by change,
Or by Death.
The end is certain.
Yet I must go,
Onwards through pain,
Onwards through loss,
Forever wandering, and wondering,
When will this end for me?
All I hold dear,
My family,
My friends,
I will lose them.
All that I love,
Your touch,
Your smile,
I will lose them, and wonder,
When will this end for me?
I grow weary,
I want the end,
That I don't need,
To wander through loss any more.
But you are there,
And you tell me,
'Everything ends,
Everything changes,
But not necessarily today.'
And I stop wandering,
And I stop wondering,
And instead I swear,
To value every second,
That things don't change between us.
Either by change,
Or by Death.
The end is certain.
Yet I must go,
Onwards through pain,
Onwards through loss,
Forever wandering, and wondering,
When will this end for me?
All I hold dear,
My family,
My friends,
I will lose them.
All that I love,
Your touch,
Your smile,
I will lose them, and wonder,
When will this end for me?
I grow weary,
I want the end,
That I don't need,
To wander through loss any more.
But you are there,
And you tell me,
'Everything ends,
Everything changes,
But not necessarily today.'
And I stop wandering,
And I stop wondering,
And instead I swear,
To value every second,
That things don't change between us.
