Grace and Flavour
.
Voyages to set sail to
discoveries to find
loves treasure waiting
Should I be captains first hand,
to the mast I'll paint a picture fair
along its weathered wood.
Maybe a captains maid,
taking away worrisome thoughts
on troublesome crew
with a knowing smile,
before kneeling and accepting
his grace and flavour
till sermon heard.
To a stowaway found
way out to sea,
made to work out the voyage
from the captains bed to table,
creating a fine spread indeed.
