Pictures Of You
I stand
as I am
recalling what I can
I picture you
bright colour
fantastic hues
my mind is full
of view
as I picture you
I construct
in silt and sand
viaducts
that bridge new lands
across to you
am I a lost
preview
a lie that cost the truth
people pass through life
some are needles
some are knifes
they really touch the skin
but rarely break within
like you do
a spike right to
a pain brand new
closed eyes
they always see
your image it haunts me
grainy flecks replay
amidst rainy days
without you
where I shout from dark rooms
in the silence entombed
I still picture you .
