The crimson tipped thorns seem to promise deathly delights
An invitation for one such as me
Leading into the labyrinthine of twisted night
An initiation so promising
In the distance
Darkness is entwined
When flickering light
And haunting fog kiss
My soul is bound to the madness residing here
All those memories, they linger on
A crucible of pain, shredding flesh, inducing fear
When those eidolons won't carry on
I'm searching for something that cannot be found
A spectre of the past haunting without a sound
Resolutely on this path, no future is set
Inside the walls of the labyrinth architect
In the shadows
The shades are drawn tight
Against creeping light
And sounds from below
With every twist and turn there's another riddle
With words imprinted within my mind
Despair, how can I ever hope to reach the middle
And, lo, who knows just what I will find?
In the recess
Ghosts are clustered tight
Perpetual night
In sins I confess
I'm searching for something that cannot be found
A spectre of the past haunting without a sound
Resolutely on this path, no future is set
Inside the walls of the labyrinth architect
I've become reflection of your world
The constant doubt lingering in your core
Now I doubt what is entirely real
In the dark where my heart is sealed
I follow your shade in the night
When new black skies were once blue
But if I find the end tonight
Will I find someone like you?

Makes me merely anxious
