You and I
seem to occupy
a world filled with
Ifs and maybes.
These non-absolutes
simply drive me crazy.
Different this, different that;
like pulling a rabbit out
of a hat.
Tricks and ploys,
to enslave our toys.
I am severing my strings
and leaving this thing.
No longer wanting
to be a plaything.
