RAINDANCE
(Written for the "Color of Rain" competition)
Crystal clear
caressed by sunshine
glorious prisms of life
when I love
and I am beloved
Black teardrops
splash the soil of my soul
nurturing self-hatred’s seed
nature and hue
of depression
Flesh colored sweat
plummets off eyelash
nose and nipple
futile attempt
to quench coital flames
Blood-red torrent
bathes my genuflected frame
sating thirst for mercy
divine metamorphic balm
my sin's absolution

This is amazing work Gahdess! I really like how this develops from rain, to tears, to sweat and finally to blood. Then there's the balm at the end, and "my sin's absolution." Fine job!

Thank you so much my sweet dancer! I did dig rather deep for this one. And reading it in retrospect I see that it does reveal quite a bit of naked me...my mind is an unravelable mess of tangled and knotted wire.
All I can seem to do is sigh sir. I'm left in awe of your words my dear GW.
I so agree with the others the evolution of this piece is so amazingly done darlin
