You are becoming one of my favorite poets, not just hear but of all time. I enjoy each of your works more and more. This piece is great, the emotion is raw, the pictures are crystal. I dare say its a masterpiece.
"Kill the self, kill impressions
The mind is an arrogant bastard"
I adore this line Vee.
It's just an amazing piece all around, every line. The ending is superb.
Another for the reading list!

"you will find watching me, is watching you."
You know, all judgments come with a view prejudicial to the viewer...but the viewer never really understands that he or she can only view what he or she is accustomed to and therefore has limited perspective. In essence, they will see themselves in every situation and judge only from how they would act differently...never really considering fully what circumstance might lead someone else to a different course of action.
And of course "The mind is an arrogant bastard." So any means is justified getting to your sought ends.
"Don't feel you owe truth to judgement.
You can always go back to breed more."
Your ending is classic. They say there is a fine line between genius and insanity. I wonder how many true geniuses society has discarded as insane throughout history, with our accepted views limiting our perspective...and how much is truly lost with e every insane person we lock away without ever truly understanding what drives them to be different. Enjoyed this...got my wheels churning. :)

Hi Michael, I'd like to address per line as you picked out highlighting.
~~There's so much hypocrisy, that it makes me sad, how can supposedly 'educated' behave in a judgemental way.
~~Arrogance, ego..is the deadliest sin, isn't it?!
~~As for the final two lines, most of the poets and artists were considered mad, insane. I was reading on the poet John Clare, how he was institutionalized most of his life and when the doctors examined his poetry they didn't find any signs of delusion or insanity and yet he couldn't speak two coherent sentences to make sense.
Was he a genius or simply insane?!
and what is the idea of 'normal', how much do we owe to others' to justify ourselves?
I'm flattered that i got your wheels turning Michael, thank you!

Yummm...insanity vs. sanity ...snip off insanity...string tog. worry beads fondle your worries...yes kill the self esp. that nasty ego..put those tiny dreams in the corner of your mind...squeeze them out...let them drop...judgement is a whore and truth owes her nothing...AWESOME poem..most delicious
for my mind to feed on.

Thanks for your comment Shakka,
It does seem insane, doesn't it when we step away and look in?!
Interestingly, we all do snippets of all mentioned every day and not think twice about it, feeling self righteous or most often oblivious.
