Sorry seems to be the hardest word
For the words I've never said
The lines I've never read
For the journey that I have spent
In my own perfect picture
For the lies that I have spun
For the effort in my working
For the fire that was lit in my heart,
only to be put out again
I’ve apologized so many times
Its like I can't do one thing right
Like the sun wont shine when I walk outside,
The shadows will enclose us all
And when your eyes they capture me
All I can see is the hatred you feel
Still I say it again,
In the hope to make it all better?
I scream it as if it changes its effect
"I’m sorry"!
