The Course Of Love

She doesn’t seem to mind the unmade bed in my dim room
As we lay down intertwined fully dressed
Though I am lightning quick embarrassed
And forgotten why before the thunder
Her thin print dress seems to wrap her tightly
Clinging to her softly sweating body
Where the paperback novelists call all the right places
I gently stroke the unseen downy peach fuzz of her cheek
While I kiss those soft unadorned lips of pink
In no need of false ruby colors
To showcase their beauty and shape
And a simple brush of my arm across her small and firm breast
Tells me that she is coming alive and firm
With an electric arousal that courses through her
That soft kiss and gentle touch allow me all I need
To know that this will be a night of slow and relaxed
Sighing and kissing of faces and bodies
That will lead us to another electric coursing
And soft dreamless sleep that will take us
To a new kind of unknown love
In the dawning of new daylight
