Existence Understood

 

Then when he said he loved me,
not from a distant call spoken from the lips of
someone caught with distractions in his world
or beeped incoming message signed xxx

It's when he said it,
just random,
from those gorgeous lips,
face to face,
felt as if my whole reason for existence
were just revealed,
explained
laid bare
finally understood  
like the map of my emotions just discovered tear stained,
X marking this spot where I sat,
face to face,
when I said I love you too.
