1000(lonesum)Baptisms, (now upon some 5000 days of solitude )  ... Wh'ere     are     You? /

laughing at the likes of persisting
  torment of the silly villianies
of a self gone ( as might as well)
to suffocation of a heart half-dying
                                  in that bright
light 'awareness' that all so many
       'well neaning'
  souls have deep bought into.

so it seems is every-where
, even para
dise,  beauty ignores the broke-heart
                                      ol'prick-at-sea
                                 (not yet over his head)
                              (but leaning thusly)
                          at thee edge in
                    tearful glee
          of para
              d ox,
standard polarities relieved of they duties
         in order
to give some seem'edness of fair-play,(tho
in no such doin', thee stage needs be set anyway,
accentuating his lengthy 'no market value'
            on beauty's trading floor )

look....standing titty-deep in soon-eternal waters,

eye toward shore, then downcoast, then fullsea, then
upcoast.....full panorama with but some simple footwork....
so long blessedly here, so long damned alone / can only
bare imagine the joy of holding You here in this gentle
ebb/flow, waters running through us.....but, a thousand
times now, spread over 5000 days,
there is no 'us'....not even 'a chance'
                          (to know You) /

such that a failing heart 'knows' it's own dire'irony metaphor, &
will likely just leave it at that
