Faith (Mirror's Edge)
It started slowly,
Suffocating your freedom,
Until it's all gone.
They imposed their will,
Declaring safety for all,
Just keep your head down.
They just want power,
I don't know why you trust them,
Do you think they care?
They say it's normal,
As long as you remember,
Never ask questions.
But that's not my life,
I put fate in my own shoes,
Catch me if you can.
Living on the edge,
Requires more than running,
You can't stop running.

Quin you hit the nail right on the head there. "Vague" is about the best word you could describe Mirror's Edge as. A HUGE amount of hinting at an intriguing and diverse political world modeled after a diet version of 1984 and youre one of a handful of rebels fighting the system to keep the resistance alive sounds great right?!
Eeeeexxcept they don't explain anything and I felt empty inside when the game ended without closure.
And yea I'm talking about the government from the perspective of a rebellious vigilante, the protagonist of Mirror's Edge, Faith Connors. :)

Hahah! I think you're going to like it here Quin. I initially started as writing strictly video-game inspired stuff since I didn't think anyone else really did it. Now it's just stuff that I go through/inspires me, and since I don't really do anything but game at the moment.......guess what I'll be primarily writing about! :D
