A wonder at life list.

1.  A rainbow of umbrellas after a storm
2.  A room filled with antique mirrors
3.  A girl with a thousand longings

1a. A small boy reaches for the yellowest umbrella,
his mother never sees him again.
  b. The boy laughs all the way across the sky.

2a.  A young David Bowie dances from mirror to mirror
his unquenchable desire to gaze at his own image turns violent.
  b.  Bowie slaps the smallest mirror broken and laughs deeply.

3a. A teenage girl with straight black  hair and gleaming collarbones
sits alone in her bedroom and wishes to the moon for a pet bird
and a brown silk Armani shift.
   b.  Maura's  step sister walks into the moonlit bedroom and smirks at Maura
   c.  Maura slips out of her jeans and begs her step sister to give her 800.00
for a dress and a bird. Her step sister continues to  smirk until Maura promises to
brush her hair everyday after school and run her bath every evening after dinner.

   d. Maura wears her Armani dress on Tuesdays and Sundays, she has
named her bird Sand.

*** Update: Maura is currently breaking her step sister's heart very, very slowly.
     Maura's laugh has now morphed into the most beautiful sound in the world.
