Dread Grace

"We don't burn, we bury,
Siphons of spirit, patrons of decay,
Your coffin our canvas, our home your cemetery,
The only unstoppable force that even time does not delay,
For my Lady's power is omnipotent not in force,
But in inevitability."

Oh Lady Decay,

Bless us with your plague,

Make me the vessel of your malevolence this I pray,

Allow my hands my hands to rot the living and corrupt the dead,

Confine your disciple no longer and allow me to spread your message instead,

That only through the omnipotence of your power all will embrace their inevitable future,

For your hand stretches far beyond the heavenly realm of time and the earthly dominion of nature,

So that all who fall under the shadow of your embrace may not despair,

But will accept their new body that ascends mortal limitations of food, water, and air,

Hear the people crying out for your blessing,

Cleansing their bodies of blood and bile so that their spirit may survive the transitioning,

Witness them slit their throats and exhume the graves of their ancestors,

Offering their bodies to you with screams of agony as praises to you while their wounds fester,

I beseech you my Lady,

Show them the fulfillment of life after death,

Assure them that there is nothing to fear about being a zombie,

As I too have abandoned my frail mortality to live at your behest,

I pray that you will let me walk free upon the plains of Skyrim,

And spread the word of your new dawning,

Found only where the light grows dim.
