Memories.

There's a head full of noise,
Whispers bounce around
Distant voids

The constant reflection, deflection
Swarming over me
From all and every direction

Moons plummet like rain
Impossible pain,
Am I holding on in vain?

Am I praying
For a change that's never coming?
Can anyone hear what I'm saying?

They're only memories
It's just a memory.
Of all we could have been

They're only memories
Its just a memory
Long ago, I've seen

Yet it's haunting,
Hallowing, to my core
Overshadowing, daunting.

Heart in miscellaneous places
Tore away from remains
Forgot every one of their faces

Vague attempt to navigate
A broken path
I may have helped create

I stand alone,
In a chasm of constant whispering
And let the silence make itself at home

God will never answer
It's just a memory
But I'll never manage to forget her

It's just a memory.
