young lover
young lover you
come and you go with the day
as softly as wind within the trees and
all i ask is that i may lay beside you
where i enter silence and i watch
you my fingers on your lips reading
your face the lips that tremble in desire
the lash that falls against cheek
we can go fly off into the sun together
disappearing beneath the hills
snuffed away by time stay won't
you don't you leave me here
all alone, condemned to live.

as softly as wind within the trees and
all i ask is that i may lay beside you
where i enter silence and i watch
you my fingers on your lips reading
your face the lips that tremble in desire
the lash that falls against cheek
