Too many experts trample into the poetic tower.

Experts would rather destroy the poetic tower,
Trampling all over its floor
The 'mud' of non-experts caking their boots
Saying what nice ideas it has
With "such-and-such" here
Blasted buzzing bees,
Forgetting to smell the crushed flowers beneath their feet.
Its nice if an audience knows so much about the poem 
They can even give the poet some ideas.
Too many experts mess the place up
A few annoying and painful pricks
And too many non-experts burn down the tower
Shouting with their torches
Ants with no sense of Art
Annoyed at their own ignorance
Angry at a careless poet for showing this.
A good audience is neither shiny-obsessed magpie or criticism crow;
Its simply people
Reading,
Enjoying,
Learning (and not in a patronised way).
