Thumbing Olden Tomes

I thumb soft rosed blushes
on worn parchment distressed.
Feel angsty olde auras,
absorb unholy mix~blessed.
Inhale years of sorrow..
crushed velvet page by page.
Exhale yearns unfulfilled
lineage'd on night's stage.

All wonder resides here
within somber ole' tomes.
I spake inherent wisdoms
from past inked, in croon.

Wish all mine wane heartbeat-
that I too shall foresee..
future knowledge bleating,
history as decreed.

Linked strong anˈcestrally
to ladies of mine line,
'beg a favored boon then-
to ken mine space in time.
