Erin:  Her Ways

Erin cautioned about damages sustained
Scars left by the menace who shared her life
Then dumped her
Leaving emotions "calcified for God knows how long"
Her words could have been an obstacle
But she didn't want to "fly solo"
So we eventually landed on "ranch properties"
Lorded over by macho men
Leading lives of guns and attack dogs
But at least she had her own horse
An elegant prince named Sharif
And it was a privilege to hold his reins
Just waiting to watch my lady ride
She finally made it to Louisiana
Where she now resides comfortably
With a bed, breakfast and cool hospitality
A gracious, and sweetly stubborn, southern belle.
