These hourglass eyes ( it's all too quiet quickly dying)

Distant points
falling all too short
craving love for family gone
wild young friends
embittered enemies
wave solemnly
from wind swept
ashen memory
this one and lonely road
combs over this empty world
only intersected
by dead end turns

Carve me out

Soft gentle sands
O water, earth and hand
for this grit
burns
just rough and abrasive
behind my glass
I've seen everything
feeling next to nothing
simply
loss
Slipping so
Fast

As if by mudslide

Turn me over
to where it began
Saving only savored
to separate cup
I swear by gulps
It is never enough
forever greedy
always wanting and absolute needy
Just blink my friends
soon too
I'll be there

Overseas

Wistfully
yearning
each new turn
of those
saintly sands in
hourglass eyes
