They started a new train system  
gave it a Fancy-Nancy name  
Put it on a single-rail  
and made it ride like  
the wind  
Fed the tax-system  
profit and porridge  
Less than five years  
life in it's  
veins  
the entire  
system  
is bereft  
bankrupt  
Taxed to death  
paying for it's rail  
and pretty ticket  
 
I preferred the old train  
two rails seem safer  
I read a chapter or two  
normal-speed  
Whistle-sounds  
authentic too.  
 
Worth  
waking an hour earlier  
Though  
I'd prefer it  
hadn't been a suicide  
I wish it just crashed  
on it's own  
With out  
the planning  
from the suits  
with the new-houses  
fancy-cars  
and-cigars  
on-show  
 
They've bought a new train  
used the Tax money for it  
imported over  
the seas  
from  
China apparently  
we have tunnels here  
the Chinese  
don't have tape measures  
 
I preferred the old trains
the height is perfect  
can read a chapter or two
