Image for the poem Mint Tea

Mint Tea

There's a sprinkle of coriander about you
a squeeze of lemon to a sprig of mint in tea
drinking moments.

Where to begin with my summary
these main points being, loving and
thoughtful maybe loyal and respectful too,
all placed into this love pot of beautiful
concoctions to view.

But what's this I see,
stirring from the depths
rising from the deep blue
awakening my interest
this love beast in you

grasping
mauling
ripping
desiring
release wanting
yeah you got me stirring
for the beast I'm now yearning
till satisfied
cooling down with plenty if kissing
I'll be forever smiling.
